G&D Game Design Competition II - Rumors of a Lost Religious Site & Crazy Vet

So the second Game & Demo Game Design Competition has gone into its competition phase. There are a total of seven entries, with five more to follow this article.

The entrants had to create a game, simply, with their own graphics.

To save a rampage of articles, I'll be doing these updates in pairs. So here's the third and fourth entries to be created for this contest. First up is Secef, shortly followed by eNSO.

Secef's creation is called Rumors of the Lost Religious Site.

This is my submission for the 2 week contest. It's a short RM2k3 game titled "Rumors of a Lost Religious Site," an attempt at a humorous send-up of Nickelodeon's old show "Legends of the Hidden Temple."

As requested, the game should be playable by those who lack RM2k3. The only hitch is that the game ended up being around 15MB flat. That kinda sucks, but ah well, not much I can do about that aside from what I've already done. Here are some (temporary?) links that I just made:

Next up is Crazy Vet, created by eNSO.

Genre: Arcade
Maker: RPG Maker 2000

About

Crazy Vet is a 3-level arcade where you assist the crazy veterinarian as he practices surgery on innocent animals. You must observe given combinations and find them in the grid.

Controls

You only need a mouse to play this game. Left click selects objects and right-click deselects them. Keyboard is not not supported.

Graphics & Music

All graphics and music are 100% original and cannot be used in other projects without permission.

Backgrounds and sprites were drawn in iDraw and soundtracks were mixed using Dance eJay 2 and 4.
