Holy shit a shoot-em-up in RPG Maker XP???? And it's good???? HOLY SHIT????? Yeah. This game is amazing. I couldn't really tell it was an RPG Maker XP game really.

Exception

Exception is a unique schmup! It features a ton of grey blocks. Woo. But this means that there can be over 2,000 things on screen at once and it owns. You use the cursor keys to move, and can press either the A or S key to rotate your ship. Hold the Z key to shoot a laser beam, and press + hold the X key to activate your missile lock. You can use the C key to push blocks away, but only if the second gauge at the bottom left of the screen has at least one charge. Pushed blocks can destroy other blocks, so use it for big combos, as the gauge fills as things are destroyed.

Phun is a crazy game where you make stuff. And watch as the stuff you built keeps growing/you destroy it. It's very sandboxy, but a very fun intuitive experience. It reminds me of playing with a bunch of toys as a kid, only as a game.

Monster's Den

Monster's Den is an RPG you play in your browser. You create a party of 4 from 5 classes, and adventure in dungeons and kill things + get loot. It's a way more graphical roguelike, really. It's a fun time killer, that you can invest a small amount of time in and feel like you've done something, without spending hours of time into it.
