Going through some formatting changes for the next 10 of these. Merritous By: Lancer-X/ASCEAI "Action-adventure dungeon crawl game"  I'm just gonna quote RPG here... Quote Meritous is NOT a game I made (I wish!), but I felt the need to share it anyway. It's a fun little dungeon crawler with some RPG and rogue-like elements. You are a user of some arcane energy called Psi and you infiltrate the Orcus dome to investigate a disturbance in the force. The gameplay is fairly simple, you walk around with the arrow keys and use Space to charge your psi circuit, once released the psi wave obliterates enemies around you. As you progress, you come across different artifacts that allow you to learn new skills, and you also collect crystals that could be traded for extra shield or psi power. The game is still a dungeon crawler and you're still forced to explore thousands of rooms and fight the occasional boss. It might get a bit repetitive on the long run, but I still find pretty enjoyable, especially considering that I'm not even a fan of the genre. YEP. Using a simple editor, you get to make your own enemies, or play other people's enemies. There isn't very many weapons etc, but playing vs something you made is REALLY cool. It's a pretty simple premise, with cactus' awesome audio/visual style put into it. But very underrated and largely ignored. If you're on XP/Vista, you're gonna have to set Windows 95 compatibility, and make sure you put the included .dll into your Windows/System32 folder if it doesn't load. In Siege you manage resources in such a way to generate units. Soldiers, Archers, Golems, Dragons, magical spells...you name it...you can try to make it. Your enemy is doing this too...in real time. Games became a frantic fight for survival! It takes a bit to get used to at first, but at only 1.4MB, it's a quick dl. You have to try to beat the game as fast as possible, collecting all the gems, without dying. It's pretty fun, if hard in some areas!
