Freeware Fridays #13: Hideo Kojima likes freeware!
BlockOn!: By: cactus_squid Platformer ![]() cactus made this in 3 hours, and basically it's this (really really short) platformer where you create blocks to reach a door at the end of a level! It's really basic, but like everything cactus, hard and with awesome graphic style. You can download it and read controls at: http://www.gamemakergames.com/forum/index.php?topic=34521.msg339265#new (Thanks to Dicko....) Seiklus: By: tapeworm Adventure/Exploration ![]() Seiklus is Estonian for Adventure, which is pretty much what this game is about. The game is very relaxing, and all you really do is run and jump and explore the vibrant, amazingly made areas. It's a great game to pass the time, if nothing else. You can check it out here: http://autofish.net/clysm/art/video_games/seiklus/ (thanks to Dicko x2) Phyta: By: Cambrian games No fucking clue. ![]() This game is pretty weird! You have to try and catch the little golden things flying around. That's about it. I think the thing that I really love about this game is the artistic style and how unique it is, even in its simplicity it looks amazing and feels awesome. You can also just let things go too. You can download it here: http://www.cambriangames.com/current.html (thanks to dicko x3) Polarity By: Bick "Quick paced arcade game" ![]() Polarity is really cool. The graphics kinda suck obviously, but what makes this game cool is your guy can change his magnetism, and must use that to get through all the levels. It's really fast, and has 30 levels to beat! It can get kind of hard though!! You can download it here: http://www.gamingw.net/forums/index.php?topic=72681.0 Duo By: Binary Zoo Shoot-em-up ![]() Make no mistake, this game is REALLY REALLY fun. This game is pretty old school shmup, indeed. It has 3 game modes, infinite playability, and it's so small and completely enjoyable. I'd say more but basically all you do is blow shit up, the only innovation is that you have to watch two sides at once. A must get if you even remotely like these kind of games: http://www.binaryzoo.com/games/duo/index.htm Game History: Ace Starkiller In: Hillbilly Burger Bastards Ad Nauseam 2 Advanced Strategic Command Air Rivals Alter A.I.L.A.
